I’m Jordan McBain, founder of McBain Recoveries, with a decade of Amazon Canada e-commerce experience, I’m obsessed with Amazon returns management and profit recovery.

We’re proud to be the place where returned, excess, and abandoned stock can find a new purpose, giving lost value a second chance.

A Little Bit of Luck and a Lot of Hard Work

In 2017, the McBains began selling on Amazon. What began as a fun way to sell used books to make some extra cash, quickly expanded to a "wholesale" selling model. With the thin margins that come with this method, ample time and effort had to be devoted to recuperating losses from returns.

To diversify our suppliers, we began searching for private-label brands from the US to import into Canada. During our search, we found a brand that was having trouble with their Amazon customer returns in Canada. Since we already had a system in place for managing our own returns, we began handling theirs, and McBain Recoveries was born.

From Humble Beginnings to Scale

From a spare room to a basement, then to our garage, and into our first warehouse, the McBain's journey is all about turning unsellable inventory into opportunity. Over the years, we’ve expanded to include a wide range of services like inventory forwarding, FBA prep, and distribution.

We’ve also grown to include a department handling overstock for Amazon sellers and dead stock from various sources. By offering more than just returns management for Amazon sellers, we’ve become partners in helping many businesses grow, i.e., trucking companies, 3PLs, warehouses, and many more!
